The region of Southwood is surrounded by marshes and forests, and leads right up to the sea. There are many small villages through out the marshlands and woods, but the largest city is the port town, which happens to be the capitol. There are legends of ruins lost within the treacherous marshes and wetlands, sacred places that lost touch with the outside world. Southwood is a land of agriculture, being full of fertile land for all manner of crops and herds of animals ranging from the mundane to the bizzare. Southwood also borders on an area known as the Forest of Bones, a forest of dead trees containing not a single leaf between them. Nothing has been able to grow there for over a century, and the land is said to be cursed. At the middle there is a mysterious jungle, which few have dared to enter and none have returned from. The Southwooders mainly pay homage to the gods of Water and Nature, asking for good harvests and calm seas.
